What It Means

It is estimated that an inclusive workforce is five times more likely to innovate*. At Goodman Fielder, we know that our most valuable asset is our people. Creating a place where we all belong and can be our best is good business management, great talent management and it can be fun and educational for everyone too. Our Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy serves to invest in areas we know experience inequity and great a better experience for everyone.
What We’ve Achieved
In Australia, we annually report our Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) performance. Our diversity program also supports gender-based issues, and we recently removed outdated gender stereotypes from our White Wings packaging in recognition of this. We proudly support the Career Seekers Program, where we provide corporate experience to asylum seekers; helping them be placed in careers in Australia. This partnership also benefits our local staff by offering them exposure to new cultures and different perspectives.
What’s Next
In 2025, we launched our Australian Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategy and in 2024, we launched our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan, guiding commitment and actions to create healing between First Nations peoples and Non-Indigenous Australians.
