What It Means
With such bold sustainability ambitions, we know we cannot achieve them alone. To be a truly sustainable business, and as part of our work towards the UN SDG Partnership for the Goals, we have the opportunity to help empower action within our supply chain so that we positively impact local communities and the environment. The supply chain needed to create our product ranges extends well beyond our immediate suppliers, so we are looking at ways to support and empower communities right to the origins of our supply chain.
What We’ve Achieved
Our work to date has focused on particular parts of our supply chain where we can have the greatest impact to deliver our sustainability strategy, Better Together, as well as proactively working to achieve the UN SDGs.
What’s Next
We will continue to build transparency and visibility through our ingredient supply chain and identify the stakeholders with which we can drive positive impacts at an ecosystem and community level. While respecting cultural relevance, these actions will be sensitive to the region in which we’re working, and relative to the greatest social and/or environmental empowerment needed.
