Goodman Fielder expands Christchurch UHT facility to meet growing demand for high protein milk in China

Goodman Fielder is pleased to announce a significant expansion of its Meadow Fresh UHT milk facility in Christchurch, with investment in high protein processing and increased capacity to meet international demand.

The project will add approximately 25 new roles to the Meadow Fresh site and supports a long-term supply partnership with Yihai Kerry Arawana, a subsidiary of Wilmar International Limited, for the Chinese retail market.

The agreement includes supply to Sam’s Club in China, and was formally signed by Goodman Fielder NZ CEO, Bernard Duignan, and Tao Wu, Director of Retail Business at Yihai Kerry Arawana.

This marks another important milestone in Goodman Fielder’s ongoing strategy to grow its presence in China through Meadow Fresh’s innovative, high-quality, high-value dairy products made in New Zealand.
