Ingredients

  • 24 asparagus spears
  • 12 prosciutto slices
  • Olive oil
  • Praise Classic Aioli

How to make it

  1. Trim woody end off asparagus spears. Cut each of the prosciutto slices into long thin strips.
  2. Place the strip of prosciutto on a board and lay the cut end of the asparagus to make a letter “V”. Tightly roll the asparagus over and start winding the prosciutto strip around it. Repeat with all asparagus and prosciutto strips.
  3. Heat a large frying pan with olive oil and fry wrapped asparagus for a couple of minutes on each side or until the prosciutto is brown and crisp.
  4. Arrange on a plate and drizzle with aioli and ground black pepper.
