Crispy Hasselback Potatoes with Aioli
Ingredients
- 3 slices tasty cheddar cheese
- 6 large Désirée potatoes, cleaned
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- Olive oil (to drizzle)
- 6 tbsp Praise Aioli
- ½ cup chopped ham, cooked
- Sliced spring onions (to serve)
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Make about 10 cuts through each potato without cutting all the way through. Place potatoes on a lined baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and garlic. Bake for 40 minutes or until tender.
- Meanwhile heat a fry pan over medium heat, add a little olive oil and fry ham until lightly brown.
- Place squares of cheddar cheese into a few of the potato cuts and return to oven until cheese has melted. Allow to cool, then top with aioli. Sprinkle with ham and shallots and serve.
