Chargrilled Smoked Paprika Steak Sandwiches
Ingredients
- Olive oil
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp picked thyme leaves
- Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper
- 2 x 400g sirloin steaks
- Gruyere cheese, sliced
- Molneberg Mixed Grain Bread
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- 1 baby cos lettuce
- Praise Deli Style Intense Aioli
- Dill pickles
How to make it
- Combine 2 tbsp of olive oil with paprika, thyme and salt and pepper in a bowl. Toss through steaks and marinate for 10 minutes. Cook steaks on high, 4 minutes per side. Remove and top each with Gruyere cheese.
- Toast 8 slices of bread on the BBQ with olive oil.
- Slice the cheese topped steaks and divide over the 4 sandwiches, with layers of cos lettuce, tomato and a generous squeeze of Praise Deli Style Intense Aioli. Top toasted sandwich and serve with pickles.
