Lamb Burger

Lamb burger


  • MacKenzie Sprouted Grain burger buns
  • 750 grams Sliced lamb
  • 150 grams Puhoi Valley Goats milkl Feta
  • 1-2 Onions to make Caramelised onions
  • A handful of herb salad of mint and coriander
  • 1 Large red pepper (roasted)
  • 1 Tablespoon Pesto (per burger)
  • 1Tablespoon Aioli (per burger)


Sear lamb fillets in a hot pan or BBQ for 3 minutes each side.

In the meantime, lightly toast MacKenzie Sprouted Grain burger buns in the oven.

To assemble, spread one half of the bun with aioli, top with a herb salad of mint and coriander. Add the lamb, some roasted capsicum, caramelised onion and drizzle with pesto. Place the remaining bun half on top and serve to a salivating audience!

  • Use premium lamb mince for the patties, or lamb fillets or back straps like here if you want to go more gourmet.
